Qualifications

  • Ph.D (Anthropology), from Pondicherry University.
  • Hon. D.Litt. from South American University - 2017
  • Master’s Degree in Political Science from Osmania University, Hyderabad.

  • PG Diploma in Interior design, Hyderabad.

Professional Practice

Prof (Dr). Devarakonda Suresh started his career as an Assistant Director in MGNIRSA, Hyderabad in 1995. He became In-charge Registrar in 2001 and took charge as Registrar of Mahatma Gandhi National Institute of Research and Social Action (MGNIRSA) on May 8th, 2004. He is the Managing Trustee of Dr. D. Swaminadhan Research Foundation (DSRF) since 1995. He has organized and co-ordinated about 162 Conferences / Seminars as Coordinator that are conducted by MGNIRSA/DSRF.

Concurrently holding charge for the last 24 years as Member, Board of Governors/Board of Directors/Board of Trustee of the Mahatma Gandhi National Institute of Research and Social Action (MGNIRSA) and Dr. D. Swaminadhan Research Foundation (DSRF), Hyderabad and he is the secretary of MGNIRSA/DSRF since 1995. He is successful in getting the required sanctions for research projects, academic seminars and conferences.

  1. He chaired the Doctoral Committees, Viva-voce the Ph.D programs (For external students) in the areas of Biotechnology, Computer Science/Information Technology. Around 30 research scholars have registered for Ph.D in different areas and are guided by the concerned professors under mgnirsa.
  2. Personal Development and Computer Training Program for Girl Students, House Wives and Unemployed Youth.
  3. Training Program of Artificial Intelligence Robotics for Tribal Schools (Includes both Teachers and Children with the capacity 1200 No.s).
